We all have a signature palette. It's the color you always wear, it's your favorite lipstick. Let's take your favorite colors and make a landscape.
The landscapes are what “hooked me” on painting. From the time I was thirteen, I have been painting “en plein aire”. It’s a French word that describes a method of painting where the artist paints what they see outside. As I developed as an artist, I began taking the smaller paintings that I did into the studio. Those little sketches have now become staple pieces in large corporate collections and homes throughout the world. I started in my own back yard, Yellowstone National Park. They have taken me to France to paint as well as the Sonoran Desert.
“Flowers Dance” (60x24) available.
With detail pics. I grew up painting in Yellowstone Park. I really have painted so many trees that they have become a part of my subconscious. I call them my “Organic Abstracts”.
“Flower Girl” (36x84) available.
The wild flowers and painting help me capture that magical feeling of being in the mountains. Pictures just don’t bring back the sense of freedom and out of this world beauty.
